Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

All three shots were taken on my month long volunteering trip to Cambodia. These shots were captured on the Angkor Archaeological Park. The first image is of Banteay Srei, also known as The Lady Temple, it is a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The second image is of one of the great Angkor gates and the third shot was taken on a hike while visiting Kbal Spean, the sacred riverbed carvings also known as The River of a Thousand Lingas.

When I think of green, I think of lush vegetation, trees and nature. Cambodia definitely has that. I am so very fortunate to have spent such time there and I can not wait to go back, not only to the trees and the nature, but to the people too.

Lovely! One of my favourite countries. Orange and brown always come to mind when I think of Cambodia and Thailand (the monks, of course!), but they are also so lush and green. Nice shots 🙂
